WHAT A MESS is an act of gratitude, a living archive, a subjective documentary capturing the essence of a community built on a fundamentally positive human value.
WAM #1 is the result of a collaboration between five photographers who share the visual story of the same series of events—through the eyes of those who lived them. Through images, narratives, and everyday moments, this first issue explores what it means to go on vacation by bike when your daily life is riding against the grain in the city.
WAM is an object crafted by real, flesh-and-blood people—meant to be held, flipped through, and collected like a Polaroid. Printed in a limited run, each copy is a snapshot of a moment forever gone.
68 pages, 50 images. Texts that evoke the atmosphere of these events. A foreword by Dave, the longtime voice of the courier championships—and so much more.
WHAT A MESS est un geste de gratitude, une archive vivante, un documentaire subjectif qui capture l’essence d’une communauté porteuse d’une valeur humaine fondamentalement positive.
WAM #1 est le fruit d’une collaboration entre cinq photographes qui partagent le récit visuel d’une même série d’événements par celles et ceux qui l’ont vécu. À travers des images, des récits, et des moments du quotidien, ce premier numéro explore ce que signifie partir en vacances en vélo lorsque son quotidien est de rouler dans une ville, à contre-courant.
WAM est un objet conçu par des êtres vivants, en chair et en os, pour être touché, feuilleté, et collectionné à l’image d’un Polaroïd. Imprimé en série limitée, chaque numéro est un instantané d’un moment à jamais passé.

Une préface rédigée par Dave, le speaker attitré des championnats coursiers depuis de nombreuses années, et même plus encore.
